Westhoughton Mark Installation

6th December 2016

It was a good turn-out for the Installation of John C. Hesketh as Master of this fine Lodge, especially as it took place in the presence of Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Michael J. Clarke and the Provincial Grand Master’s Special Representative for the area, Kenneth Alker, who was accompanied by several acting Grand Officers and other senior brethren including the Provincial Wardens, Senior Warden Alan Foster and Junior Warden Alan Fairhurst who gave the addresses to the wardens and overseers.

Brother Hesketh, to the amusement of everyone apologised to the APGM for being unable to find a cheque to present for Charity, only to find that it was on the pedestal in front of him. Somebody suggested that he visit a certain opticians, but the suggestion was politely declined. It was a fine contribution of £500 to Mark Charities.
